Triumph has been working with the dirt bike industry for a long time. In 2023, the TF 250-X is for racing and mass uses. The bike was feeding the expectations in the market. But a year later, the bike company added more to the dirt biking industry. They came up with a more powerful and versatile TF 450-RC, a 450 CC dirt motorbike specially designed and developed with the collaboration of Ricky Carmichael. With this, the company is showing promises to off-road bike lovers.
The bike comes with a 449.5 cc single cylinder 4 stroke SOHC engine. The bike’s frame is made of aluminum, making the bike more durable, and only of 239.42lbs for better off-roading performance. Users will have a smooth riding experience with KYB-built front and rear suspensions. The twin cradle frame design offers a better power-to-weight ratio.
The most interesting part is that all the signature parts, components and graphics are hand-selected by biking legend Ricky Carmichael. The Bike’s yellow and white color, with the GOAT logo and RC’s signature number 4, has made the graphics top-notch. Besides, the quick-shifter can upshift from 2nd to 5th gear to produce more power and better performance.
Triumph has added many advanced features to it. With the Wifi module kit, you can access the MX Tune Pro smartphone app. Triumph is targeted to sell over 100,000 units of TF 250-X this year. Apart from the engine, the TF 450-RC comes with more advanced features than the TF 250-X. The air-oil separation (AOS) system will provide better oil aeration and give the bike more stability.
Triumph’s CPO Steve Sargent said, “We now have a brand new 450cc competition motocross powertrain, which Ricky Carmichael, who is without doubt the very best in the business, has worked with us to develop.”
The bike will be available on the market starting in February 2024. the price starts from $10,995.00. The price is very competitive compared to other bikes in the segment. It’s top competitor, The KTM’s 450 SX-F price, starts from 12,449.00 USD.
